I’m Talha Jamil — a Fullstack Developer in Riyadh with 8+ years of IT experience in Saudi Arabia, five of them building and shipping production web applications.

Since 2018 I’ve been the developer and IT administrator at a contracting company, reporting to the General Manager. The software I ship usually isn’t a landing page — it’s the system somebody has to use every day to get their job done, and the internal platforms I’ve delivered have been in daily production use for over two years.

I own delivery end to end: gathering requirements directly from HR, Finance and Operations, designing the database and APIs, building, testing, deploying and then supporting it. Since 2021 I’ve also delivered web and mobile projects independently for UK and international clients, handling scope, timelines and client communication myself.

I came into development through systems and IT administration, so I think about the parts that are easy to skip — who maintains this, what happens when it breaks, what the data looks like in two years. Interface polish matters to me. So does the thing still working on a Tuesday morning.
